WOMEN, are you struggling with consistency in your personal
study of the Word? Do you desire a closer walk with the Lord? Would you enjoy
making new friends?
In its ninth year, Change of Pace South provides an
opportunity for women of southern Lancaster County to gather on Wednesday
mornings to enjoy Christian fellowship and " study in the Word of God. The discussion and prayer time of
the small groups enable women from many different churches, backgrounds and
ages to support each other In their spiritual journey.
Meeting twelve weeks in the fall and spring, this community
Bible study uses the facilities of New Providence Church of God, 269 Cinder
Road. The fall 2008 semester begins September 10th at 9 AM (to 11:15 AM). Refreshments are offered first, followed
by worship in music and classes.
Four electives are offered this coming fall:
1. The Truth
Project, a DVD
series produced by Focus on the Family, evaluates the chasm between a secular
and Biblical worldview.
2. Daniel, a DVD series taught by Beth Moore
examines this Old Testament prophetic book.
3. Experiencing God, a newly revised DVD series, awakens believers to a
radical, God centered way of life.
4. The
Gospel of Luke,
taught by Charlotte Roach is an in-depth study of this New Testament book.
Each elective entails some daily homework. Daniel and
Experiencing God require the purchase of a workbook.
The children's program includes a nursery for babies and
toddlers and instructional classes for children 2-6 staffed by experienced and
loving caregivers.
