1816 House of Stone built for Church and School
1834 Frame Church Building, built in back of present church.
1883 Present Brick Church, finished and Dedicated to God.
1912 Ladies Society Organized.
1917 Electric Lights installed by Ladies' Aid.
1919 Epworth League Started
1920 Coal Burning Furnace installed in Basement.
1924 One of the areas largest Sunday Schools, 200 attended.
1933 Basement dug out, completed and dedicated.
1934 Week long 100th anniversary celebrated.
1941 Daily Vacation Bible School Started - Met in tent at Bethesda.
1941 Ladies organization, reorganized to form Women's Society of Christian Service.
1947 Ball Park, in back of church, graded and seeded.
1948 Stained Glass Windows installed. Names of Doner on each window.
1950 Began to support Meredythe Scheflen as our first missionary.
1951 First Homecoming Celebration
1954 Old School House property purchased.
1956 Jerry and Anny Rineer started their first term as missionaries in Africa.
1961 New Education Wing completed.
1967 Old School House torn down to enlarge and pave Parking Lot.
1968 New Pews Installed, Doner Name on back of each Pew.
1968 New Baldwin Organ was purchased, new floor and carpet installed.
1968 Church became a member of The Lancaster District instead of Philadelphia District.
1968 Choir Gowns purchased at Provident Book Store. Junior Choir Gowns made by Pals Class.
1969 The Front Vestibule was dug out and finished and Emergency Lighting System installed.
1969 First Daily Vacation Bible School in Church Basement, moved from Martic School.
1971 New Well was Drilled.
1972 The Old Parsonage was sold. It stood beside the Township Building.
1974 The Basement was renovated, new Ceiling, and Floor and Folding Doors added.
1976 Special Service for 100th Anniversary of The United States ( July 4th)
1978 The Nursery School opened for the first time.
1979 The Three Point Circuit was dissolved and we became a separate Church.
1979 Class Meetings were discontinued as we now had a full time minister.
1979 A New Parsonage was built on the hill overlooking Mount Nebo.
1976 The Church Newsletter, The Outlook was started. Name later changed to The Lighthouse.
1986 Ceiling Fans were installed in the Sanctuary and Heating changed to Propane Gas.
1988 Computer bought, Desk and Cabinets installed and room beside office became Computer Room.
1996 New Cookbook, Our Best Home Cooking, was published by The United Methodist Women.
2001 The Wissler House was bought and enlarged for a Parsonage. Parsonage on hill was sold.
2004 New Addition to Church started, land bought from Wiker for parking lot.
2005 New Addition was completed and Dedicated to God at Homecoming.
